We are a student organization dedicated to inaugurating an empowering, educational, and preparatory environment for students across the African diaspora interested in pursuing a health-related profession.
Despite the advancement of technology and medicine, there remain heavily prevalent racial health disparities in the United States. While there are a multitude of factors that influence these health disparities, such as socioeconomic status and workplace hazards, improper and racist medical practices worsen the disparity statistics for the black community.
